"The Rules of Attribution"
Today so many people download music illigeally. Even though its illigeal people keep doing it because if they can get it for free somewhere why pay money to download it. Also many people get reports and papers off the internet and use them as their own for classes. This happens more and more. Before college I truely thought that it was OK to do all these things if it was in moderation. I was never really taught about plagiarism. Yes teachers said not to plagiaris but the never went into the details.

I agree with you matt, when you say that your teachers never really went into detail with plagiarism, i had the same experience. Throughout my entire schooling my teachers really never brough up plagiarism until i started hearing it in college. Today downloading music is pretty much everywhere even though it is illegal. But i agree, like you said that people wil continue to download music if its free.
I agree with what your saying, though it is illegal we still burn dvds, cds and download music. With that freedom said in our minds, whose to say that people wont expand that to papers.
